It's about collecting crystals and it gives you hints for the RPG mode for the game The Fifth Hokage makes a tournament called Jounin vs. Genin, pitting every shinobi (Jounin, Chunnin and Genin) from Konoha against each other to collect Crystals, with the winner getting the opportunity to create a new role for Konoha. The OVA also gives out hints to the players of the RPG Mode of the Narutimate Hero (Ultimate Ninja) 3 game.
